Tony RICCI

Tony's Background

Tony was born in Italy and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. He has been a stylist for 18 years and has been the owner of Ricci Hair Company for ten years.

Tony has a strong commitment to education and an even stronger commitment to L’Oreal Professional whom he represents as a Portfolio Artist. Part of Tony’s experience in the industry stems from being trained at Sassoon’s Academy in London, England and Los Angeles. He is a graduate of Marvel College in Edmonton, Alberta and has set his roots in Edmonton.

Tony is no stranger to education or the need for it within our industry. He has developed a strong team of 15 staff who are committed and determined in creating and developing cutting-edge looks. Tony’s desire to share his knowledge and creativity with others is inspiring.

Among education, hair design, and platform work, Tony has a strong commitment to featuring his work within fashion and industry magazines throughout the world. One of Tony’s passions is developing looks for photo work and he has a keen eye for creating stunning looks for print.

Tony was the recipient of the 2004 Mirror Award for Multicultural Hairstylist of the Year, the 2005 Alberta Salon Team of the Year and the 2005 Master Stylist Award.
